I'm calling status the drop down at a bottom of an issue once you edit it. It would be nice if the Types, Priorities, & Status are all configurable per account or project. Might be better per account so that the entire system is standardized for all projects, everyone knows what everything is/means.
In the Gemini system I'm moving away from they have Resolution and Status to track the progress of a project. This is what I currently have in mine:
Resolution:
Unresolved Won't Fix Duplicate Non-Issue Cannot Reproduce Complete Move to production In production
Status:
Unassigned Assigned In Progress Question QA On Hold Closed Reopened
Some I think are a waste, but you can see how having the abilitty to customize them allows for a lot of power in communicating the status and progression of a project. Do you think there should be two options like this or just one?
These will be editable sometime down the road. Not sure if they'll be per project or global (as filtering dropdowns would be a pain if they're per project) but they'll at least be better than they are today.
